Lake 22, Off Mountain Loop Highway

Had a great day hike with Connor, Michael and Bella. Went to this small alpine lake off the mountain loop highway, east of Everett. Maybe an hour's drive from our house, so not bad at all.

It's 2.7 miles up (with elevation gain of 1350 ft), so we stopped a few times for refreshments.
Fortunately, there were a lot of great places to stop along the way.

But it was worth it! Look at that view!
I think it was the best day of Bella's life.

We all had a great time. We can't wait to share it with Rick and Jesse.
The trail around the lake was another 1.2 miles. The kids got a second wind when they saw all the rocks available for climbing, and the snow!
